Dr Joshua Hatch and a patient mapping a staged preventive health pathway

How it works

How longevity care works at Opse Health.

One accountable doctor guides the decisions behind your health: what matters, what to weigh, what to repeat, and what happens next. Here is the pathway, step by step.

Fully private. Diagnostics are completed offsite and paid directly to providers, at cost.

Before you start

First, a short application.

The Baseline intake form helps us assess whether Opse suits your needs, understand the complexity of your situation and confirm appointment availability.

  • If you are accepted, you will receive an invitation to book.
  • Applying does not guarantee acceptance.
  • This is not urgent care. If you have concerning symptoms, see your GP, an urgent care clinic or emergency services.

What you are paying for

Medical judgement behind every decision.

Opse calls this medical governance: a doctor who decides with you what is worth doing, and stays responsible for what follows.

  • Testing planned in stages, separating signal from noise
  • Screening you understand before you agree to it, downsides included
  • Results interpreted together, across body systems
  • A clear plan for escalation if a result is abnormal
  • A plan that fits your real constraints
  • Ongoing review, so progress holds

Diagnostics

How tests are chosen and paid for.

The right tests vary a great deal from person to person, so yours are chosen individually. You pay pathology and imaging providers directly, at cost; they are not part of the program fee. Opse decides with you what is ordered and why, interprets the results, and manages follow-up.

The care pathway, step by step

Three stages: a Baseline consultation, a structured program, then ongoing review. Each is built to hold over years.

Fees are one-off unless stated. Diagnostics are paid directly to providers.

Baseline strategy consult

Where everyone starts. A doctor-led plan before you spend thousands on tests: a risk map, a staged roadmap and a clear decision to stop here or continue with QuickStart or the Accelerator.

Choose your program

QuickStart gives you a baseline work-up with interpretation and a 90-day plan. The Accelerator is the full pathway. The choice depends on your risk and goals.

Ongoing review

Governance is year-on-year review and retesting for patients who have completed the full Accelerator. It keeps decisions current and deals with obstacles before the plan stalls.

Getting started

What the first 30 days look like.

From first contact to a working plan: concrete, staged, and built around your time.

  • Confidential intake: we review your goals, risk profile and current concerns, and whether Opse is the right fit.
  • Baseline consultation: a doctor-led review of your history, family risk, current results, medications, body composition, fitness, sleep, stress and screening status.
  • Diagnostic plan: testing is staged, and you only do investigations likely to change a decision.
  • Results interpretation: results are read together, not as isolated numbers, and borderline or incidental findings are weighed clinically.
  • Written strategy: what matters now, what can wait, what needs escalation, and what to repeat.
  • Follow-through: follow-up built around putting the plan into practice, retesting and adjustment, because prevention only works if it survives real life.
