Whole-body MRI review: what happens after the scan?

A scan report can leave you with questions. Opse Health offers a standalone consultation to review your whole-body MRI images and report, discuss the findings and map the next steps.

Face-to-face in Brisbane. Bring any provider's scan.

Post-scan consultation

Put the images, report and your history together.

The purpose of a whole-body MRI review is to understand what the findings mean in your circumstances. Dr Joshua Hatch reviews the images alongside the radiologist's report and your clinical history, and discusses next steps. This is a GP consultation and does not replace a specialist radiology report. You can bring a scan from any provider; the consultation is available outside the full longevity program.

  • Review of your existing whole-body MRI images and report
  • Discussion of findings in the context of your history and risks
  • A clear plan for any further assessment or follow-up
  • A standalone consultation rather than a commitment to ongoing care

Before or after testing

Choosing a scan and reviewing a scan are different decisions.

Whole-body MRI (also called full-body MRI) screening is not routinely recommended for people without symptoms, known cancer or a cancer-predisposition syndrome. Scans can miss disease or identify findings that lead to further tests or procedures without improving health. A scan does not replace recommended screening. If you have not had a scan, discuss whether imaging is clinically indicated before booking. Imaging, where appropriate, is arranged with external providers and paid separately. This standalone review is for people who already have a scan.
