Our approach

Evidence-led menopause and perimenopause care

At Opse Health, menopause is treated as a major health transition, with immediate symptoms and long-term consequences. Both get the same careful medical attention as the rest of your health, across:

  • Sleep, mood and cognitive function
  • Body composition and metabolic risk
  • Cardiovascular risk
  • Bone density and fracture risk

Doctor-led throughout: risks, options, monitoring where indicated, troubleshooting and follow-through.

Beyond symptoms

Part of a longer plan

Menopause Optimisation works on its own. It can also sit alongside the core Opse programs, when your goals reach further than symptoms:

  • QuickStart: the foundations and first decisions
  • Accelerator: body composition, exercise, sleep and cardiometabolic strategy in one plan
  • Governance: ongoing review, to keep things stable and adjust over time

The program

Menopause Optimisation: three visits

A baseline menopause consultation and two structured follow-ups. It suits women with perimenopause or menopause symptoms, and women already on treatment who are not getting the results they expected.

  • A structured history: symptoms, bleeding patterns and risk factors
  • Shared decision-making: the benefits, risks and options, and what to expect
  • A baseline and monitoring plan where clinically indicated
  • Troubleshooting when treatment is not working as expected: side effects, variable response, unexpected bleeding, and sleep or mood overlap
  • Bone and body composition brought into the plan where relevant
  • Assessment of genitourinary symptoms of menopause (GSM), including vaginal dryness, discomfort and urinary symptoms
